The town of Stanton Board of Aldermen met during it regular meeting Tuesday night, November 17, in the town hall. Among some of the items discussed during the meeting were a multitude of grant-related projects that are ready to start or are still in the application phase. Stanton recently received a $250,000 HOME grant from THDA, administered from Nelson Thornton. Currently the town is trying to apply for a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant that was originally intended for renovation of the water tower, but may need to be used for sewer rehab.
